I didn’t create this because I have it all figured out. I created it because I was tired. Tired of surviving. Tired of pretending. Tired of breaking myself to be accepted.
This is the beginning of my own healing journey. And I hope it can be the beginning of yours too.
My Story – Real, Raw, Hopeful
This is real. It’s my truth.
For years, I tried to make myself smaller, quieter, less. I tried to mold myself into what the world said was acceptable.
I carried ideas that told me I wasn’t enough. Too much of some things, not enough of others.
I let other people’s opinions define my worth. I wore shame that didn’t belong to me. I silenced myself so I could be accepted.
But I’m learning there is nothing wrong with taking up space. Nothing wrong with being seen, being heard, being whole.
I’m choosing to believe that healing is possible. That I can shed the weight of other people’s expectations. That I can grow into someone softer, truer, freer.
This isn’t about being healed. It’s about beginning to heal.
It’s about starting over, even if it feels messy. It’s about giving myself permission to become.
Let’s Rise by Flora is my way of saying: I believe in new beginnings. For me. For you. For anyone who wants to rise above what tried to hold them down.
This is the beginning of my journey. And I hope it can be the beginning of yours too.
